About the event
Construction Skills 2 trains participants to understand and practice the techniques of framing and placing exterior finishes. Over 8 weeks, participants will learn a wide range of topics, including site planning, blueprint reading, framing, drainage tile installation, installing soffit and fascia, and more.
Participants will be guided by industry experts through interactive lectures, practical workshops, and the actual construction of a 20x24 building. Participants will complete a 2-week paid work placement with local foundation and framework employers midway through training.
