Deleting Your Account
This section explains how to delete your Pebblz account and what happens to your data. Pebblz is published by Vision Us. If your store listing shows a different developer name, this name governs.
If you have questions about this process or believe something was retained in error, contact privacy@visionus.ca. We’re happy to help.
How To Request Deletion
-
Send an email to privacy@visionus.ca with the subject line: “Delete My Pebblz Account”.
-
Include the email address on your Pebblz account and your country/region.
-
For security, we may ask you to verify identity or reply from the account email.
-
We respond to all verified requests within 7 days and complete deletions within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law.
-
Important: Deleting your account is permanent. You’ll lose access to your profile, progress, and any content you created.
What Gets Deleted
Once we verify your request, Pebblz will delete or de-identify the following, tied to your account:
-
Profile & identity data: name, handle, profile photo, bio, preferences.
-
Contact details: email, phone (if provided).
-
Activity & progress: trainings completed, challenges, XP/skills, streaks.
-
User-generated content: posts, comments, reflections, media uploads.
-
App telemetry linked to you: device/app identifiers and logs that are directly associated with your account.
We also ask our processors (e.g., cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting) to delete or de-identify your associated records where applicable.
If law requires longer retention, we’ll keep only the minimum necessary and delete it once the requirement ends.
If you signed in with a third party (e.g., Apple, Google), deleting your Pebblz account does not delete your third-party account. You may also need to manage permissions in those services to remove Pebblz access.
What We May Keep (And Why)
Some data must be retained for a limited period to meet legal, regulatory, security, or accounting obligations. When retained, it’s restricted and not used for product features:
-
Security, fraud, and abuse logs: typically kept up to 24 months to detect misuse and protect the service.
-
Legal holds or dispute records: retained for the duration of the investigation or as required by law.
-
Aggregated or irreversibly de-identified analytics: may be kept to improve system reliability and performance, but cannot identify you.
